I am so glad I purchased a Mini SpeedWing, I don't know what I'd do without it!! I was a little worried about it being a little too touchy or fast after learning on a 48" Unicorn with a stock speed 400 motor. Andy walked be through the options, and I ended up powering it with a 4100kv brushless motor, a CC Thunderbird 9, Blue Bird Reciever, micro servos (not sure what I used as it's covered now), and 910Mah 2s Lipos. It was a little different getting used to a wing that responded so fast. I crashed it a couple dozen times until I got it to stay up long enough to trim it out. After adjusting the throws down a little, it flies a smoothly as my 48" Corn. It's way fast with the brushless setup too. I'm now building a second one for my brother, stocker to learn on. After talking with Andy again, I decided to upgrade the battery on mine to a 3s 800Mah lipo. I have the need for more speed. I'll give an update on the difference after I fly it a couple time.
Thanks Andy for all your help, Pete
