The Brand New SpeedWing 400 MK II© has been completely re-engineered to include all CNC cut pockets for servos, receiver and speed control. Strong before, but now SUPER STRONG using our flat carbon fiber "I" beam design as well as the newly re-engineered, triple layered, 5 ply aircraft grade motor mount/full length keel, makes this new SpeedWing 400 MK II nearly unbreakable. Truly in a class by itself, the New SpeedWing 400 MKII is a "MUST HAVE" in every sense of the word.

The SpeedWing trademark “Single Finger Launch” center keel/motor mount has been re-engineered and is now triple layered in key areas to make an almost "unbreakable" design. Even though this wing has the capability of super speed and “square corner” ability, it is also super crash resistant and therefore can be used as a training wing for new pilots and is also HIGHLY RECOMENDED for intermediate and higher R/C pilots, especially in a brushless configuration for EXTREME FUN! As always this SpeedWing is built for one thing, SPEED! The SpeedWing 400 MK II© is designed around the Speed 400 class motor and can accept all speed 400 size brushless motors. With a wingspan of 32 inches, the SpeedWing 400 MK II© is a small FAST and highly aerobatic flying wing. These design features set all SpeedWing.NET wings above all the rest in their ability to withstand tremendous amounts of abuse.

The design of the SpeedWing 400 MK II© is unlike other small flying wings in that it has more wing area for a given wing span. This is called a "Wide Chord" design. Because of the wide chord design, the SpeedWing 400 MK II© is able to fly at slower speeds without tip stalling. Along with the wide chord design, the SpeedWing 400 MK II has a large leading edge sweep. The large sweep and wide chord work together to make this wing EXTREMELY stable. Besides stability, the sweep and wide chord also let the SpeedWing 400 MK II fly in winds that would have all other planes grounded. This wing has been flown in 30+ MPH winds with no problems (see video below).

This kit only requires about 3 hours to complete. Once finished, you will be rewarded with a stable, fun to fly wing that you can take anywhere. It is the perfect “take to work” plane to fly on those lunch breaks or to stop by the park on the way home.

The kit contains the all EPP wing cores, laser cut 5 ply aircraft grade plywood “Single Finger Launch ©” motor mount/full length center keel, carbon fiber flat spars, precut elevons, precut 2 mm Coroplast tiplets, control horns, 2-56 pushrods with metal clevises, tie wrap motor ties, precut eletronics pockets, vynil decals and a complete color instruction manual with step-by-step pictures.
